In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind 100 CHANCE's goalkeeper Joaquim Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Henrique Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Gomes in the 30th minute of play forced Acarahu FC's goalkeeper Ivo Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Wágner Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 100 CHANCE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 36th minute, Reynaldo Félix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ivo Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, 100 CHANCE's Paulo Renato Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivo Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Félix made a kick off. Nildo Rossi lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 55th minute, one of Acarahu FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Acarahu FC. The score was 0-6 after a penalty in the 58th minute, where 100 CHANCE:s Joaquim Cearense tricked Acarahu FC:s Ivo Dias with a difficult ball by the left post. Ivo Dias made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Paulo Renato Freire sent off a good shot on target. Ivo Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Renato Freire in the 65th minute. Reynaldo Félix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivo Dias came out and tried to block the shot, but Reynaldo Félix slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 67th minute. After 79 played minutes Acarahu FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Donato. After 81 minutes, Wágner de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acarahu FC and the 100 CHANCE players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 100 CHANCE booed when Acarahu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Renato Freire got free with Ivo Dias in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Wágner de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Acarahu FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Kaká Donato hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes, 100 CHANCE's Válter Motta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivo Dias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 100 CHANCE reached it. Ivo Dias was a little too slow when Reynaldo Félix got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-8. In the 99th minute, Wágner Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wágner de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded 100 CHANCE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Acarahu FC.
