Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rubinho Aparecido started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Rifaina's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Araújo came free, but Aírton Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Jailson Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Aparecido in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Confiança F.C's goalkeeper Humberto Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Dida Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Valle didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Araújo in the 21st minute of play forced Rifaina's goalkeeper Aírton Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Confiança F.C's zone, Rubinho Aparecido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Valle came out of the goal and Rubinho Aparecido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Rifaina fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Rifaina's Rubinho Aparecido looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rubinho Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Rubinho Aparecido dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Humberto Valle, 3-1. Humberto Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dida Carneiro went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Rifaina's Dida Carneiro suffered a sore thigh after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 47 minutes into the game, one of Confiança F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Rifaina. Valdomiro Toscano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Humberto Valle. 5-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rubinho Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Rifaina got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Toscano. Nildo Sampaio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Rubinho Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rifaina booed when Confiança F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aírton Falcão was a little too slow when Luisão Araújo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 5-2. Nildo Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Humberto Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Rubinho Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Confiança F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Silva to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Rubinho Aparecido notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Confiança F.C's Humberto Valle. Humberto Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
