Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ştefan Bogătan started the match with the kick off. Tuiti FC's Fabinho Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Maranhense in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Tuiti FC's Ştefan Bogătan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ştefan Bogătan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Laurențiu Roşulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabinho Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldinho Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When Ştefan Bogătan came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Tuiti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ştefan Bogătan couldn't finish the play. Fabinho Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dudu Maranhense went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Ipaarana AD's zone, Ştefan Bogătan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Azevedo came out of the goal and Ştefan Bogătan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Tuiti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Maranhense came free, but Fabinho Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Azevedo having to interfere. Ştefan Bogătan struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Emanuel Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuiti FC. In the 39th match minute, Tuiti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Bogătan to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Falcão Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Ştefan Bogătan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ipaarana AD's Emanuel Azevedo. Emanuel Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldinho Aguiar to make the kick off. Fabinho Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademar Godoi in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Ştefan Bogătan put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuel Azevedo. Donato Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Emanuel Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Bogătan in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Tuiti FC got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Bogătan. Osvaldinho Aguiar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabinho Penha came out and tried to block the shot, but Osvaldinho Aguiar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ipaarana AD's zone, Dedé Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Azevedo came out of the goal and Dedé Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabinho Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ipaarana AD's Emanuel Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Bogătan in the 85th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Falcão Donato got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 88 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Roşulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuiti FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipaarana AD the free kick. In the 89th minute, Laurențiu Roşulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Siqueira in the 91st minute of play forced Ipaarana AD's goalkeeper Emanuel Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Falcão thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Emanuel Azevedo, a very annoying self made goal in the 93rd minute which led to 4-2. Many of Ipaarana AD's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ipaarana AD may have spent more time on the ball, but Tuiti FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
