Ipaarana AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denílson de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Denílson de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Emanuel Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabiano Albuquerque in the 37th minute. Ipaarana AD's Emanuel Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson de Senna in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldinho Aguiar to strike the kick off in the second half. Nico de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Aguiar in the 52nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ademar Godoi during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ipaarana AD's Ademar Godoi got a free kick in the 57th minute. Denílson de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Azevedo having to interfere. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Denílson de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Michel Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alice Futebol Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
