Nilson Quaresma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes of play, ITUIUTABA FC's Donato Motta made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Quaresma was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilson Quaresma came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by ITUIUTABA FC's Walmir Vergílio. But to his dismay, Walmir Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Altair FC defense, Donato Motta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson Quaresma. The Altair FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson Quaresma should have stopped the shot. Zézinho Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Zé Paulo Albuquerque might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson Quaresma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Paulo Albuquerque ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Donato Motta notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Altair FC's Nilson Quaresma. Nilson Quaresma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nilson Quaresma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Motta took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Quaresma. Nilson Quaresma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Nilson Quaresma made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Donato Motta sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Donato Motta could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Nilson Quaresma however easily saved by the left post. In the 44th minute, Zé Paulo Albuquerque reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilson Quaresma. The goal made the score 6-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Vidal made a kick off. Jeremias Figueiredo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Altair FC's Nilson Quaresma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Nogueira in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Motta in the 62nd minute of play forced Altair FC's goalkeeper Nilson Quaresma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Laerte Vargas notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Altair FC's Nilson Quaresma. Nilson Quaresma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Paulo Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Quaresma having to interfere. Ulysses Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nilson Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Altair FC's Nilson Quaresma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Motta in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Motta during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes ITUIUTABA FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Motta. 84 minutes into the match, Donato Motta notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of Altair FC's Nilson Quaresma. Nilson Quaresma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Walmir Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Zé Paulo Albuquerque made a precise shot to the right of Nilson Quaresma. Altair FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. Ulysses Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Quaresma having to interfere. Nilson Quaresma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Motta in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ITUIUTABA FC had played much better football throughout.
