Alice Futebol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when João Vítor Paraense scored to the left of an out of position Nico de Queiroz, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Paraense in the 7th minute of play forced Alice Futebol Club's goalkeeper Nico de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Paraense in the 10th minute of the match. Witmarsum FC's João Vítor Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 18 in the game by João Vítor Paraense from a close distance when the talented Nico de Queiroz managed to make a qualified save. Alice Futebol Club's players were relieved. João Vítor Paraense charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Vítor Paraense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Witmarsum FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. João Vítor Paraense hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson de Senna in the 26th minute of play forced Witmarsum FC's goalkeeper Sebastião Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Alice Futebol Club got a corner. Witmarsum FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Denílson de Senna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nico de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Paraense in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Alice Futebol Club's Nico de Queiroz got control of the ball when Albertinho Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Vítor Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denílson de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Corrêa having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Witmarsum FC's João Vítor Paraense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Vítor Paraense to strike the kick off in the second half. If Denílson de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cido Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cido Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute Albertinho Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Rossi in the 69th minute of the match. Ivo Ferreira hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes of play, Witmarsum FC's João Vítor Paraense made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nico de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nico de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Rossi in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, João Vítor Paraense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Witmarsum FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. If João Vítor Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Witmarsum FC booed when Alice Futebol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Paraense in the 88th minute of play forced Alice Futebol Club's goalkeeper Nico de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albertinho Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Alice Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Paraense came free, but Nico de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Witmarsum FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
