Wilton Koehler hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Denílson de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamim Vargas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nico de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilton Koehler went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Guilherme Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Kiko Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Alice Futebol Club's Nico de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Sabóia in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Imperatriz's Benjamim Vargas got a free kick in the 29th minute. Imperatriz's Dudu Paraense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Imperatriz from getting a goal against them. Denílson de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Paraense having to interfere. Téo Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denílson de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dudu Paraense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Renan Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dudu Paraense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renan Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Nico de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperatriz's Luizão Sabóia. But to his dismay, Luizão Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson de Senna made a kick off. A collision led to Imperatriz getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Guilherme Custódio hit a great ball. If Denílson de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Wilton Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Alice Futebol Club's Beto do Nascimento got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alice Futebol Club's goalkeeper Nico de Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Denílson de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute of the match, Wilton Koehler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nico de Queiroz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nico de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilton Koehler in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Imperatriz's zone, Denílson de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu Paraense came out of the goal and Denílson de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 played minutes Alice Futebol Club got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Jacinto. Wilton Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton Koehler struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Nico de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperatriz. Denílson de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Imperatriz were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Alice Futebol Club's much stronger midfield.
