Tales Baiano made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Adelino Secco sent off a good shot on target. Zé Paulo Costa came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Salvarano's Benjamim Romero. But to his dismay, Benjamim Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tales Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Teixeira in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Frank Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salvarano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Sails the free kick. After a rather tough play, Salvarano's Frank Teixeira got a free kick in the 17th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Salvarano's goalkeeper Tales Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Secco. Doni Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Tales Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Sails. In the 36th minute, Doni Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Luiz Gustavo Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tales Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Loureiro in the 40th minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doni Teixeira to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Salvarano's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Secco came free, but Tales Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adelino Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Tales Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tales Baiano came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Sails's Doni Teixeira. But to his dismay, Doni Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Romero in the 71st minute of play forced Black Sails's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Adelino Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Frank Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salvarano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Angelo Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tales Baiano was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Doni Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Black Sails's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
