After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, João Pedro Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iraty's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iuri Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, T. Rex Maverick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Cosme came free, but Iuri Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Iraty's João Pedro Alcântara fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro Alcântara in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Vítor Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, João Pedro Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iuri Vidal. T. Rex Maverick FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pedro Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 28th minute, Jânio Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Cordeiro having to make a save. In the 33rd minute José Vítor Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gugu Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iuri Vidal came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Iraty's João Pedro Alcântara. But to his dismay, João Pedro Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With an all-out effort, T. Rex Maverick FC's Dário Cordeiro threw himself towards the right post 49 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Vítor Medeiros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Vítor Medeiros to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Gugu Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iraty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gugu Cosme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magno Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ricardo Novaes lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for T. Rex Maverick FC! Gugu Cosme struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Iuri Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iraty. Valério Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dário Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iraty's Dário Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Tande in the 75th minute of play. Dário Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gugu Cosme's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Iuri Vidal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 80th minute, Olavo Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcel Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Gugu Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iuri Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Carlos de Amorim hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Iuri Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Iuri Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iraty.
