Varzedo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in T. Rex Maverick FC's zone, Abelardo Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Vidal came out of the goal and Abelardo Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind T. Rex Maverick FC's goalkeeper Iuri Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fausto de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Medeiros in the 84th minute of the match. Fausto de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Amaral in the 86th minute of play. Abelardo Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Vidal having to interfere.
