After 10 minutes, Doni Teixeira made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Iraty's Dário Cordeiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tales Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iraty's protests and gave Tales Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. Iraty's Dário Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Iraty from getting a goal against them. Black Sails's Adelino Secco came free and shot a quick shot against goal 94 minutes in the game, fortunately Dário Cordeiro had problems saving as it came toward the left post.
