The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for T. Rex Maverick FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Teixeira during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nico Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Vidal having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Nico Recife could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Iuri Vidal however easily saved by the left post. In the 16th match minute, T. Rex Maverick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, T. Rex Maverick FC's Iuri Vidal got control of the ball when Nico Recife tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Amaral hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Iuri Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iuri Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Andrade during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, one of Salvarano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Salvarano. Tales Baiano had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Ricardo Novaes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 38 minutes into the match, T. Rex Maverick FC's Valério Tande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tales Baiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. T. Rex Maverick FC's Iuri Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Romero in the 42nd minute of play. Nico Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valério Tande struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tales Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T. Rex Maverick FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamim Romero made a kick off. The supporters of Salvarano booed when T. Rex Maverick FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Salvarano's Luiz Gustavo Massa tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. T. Rex Maverick FC's Iuri Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Romero in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Valério Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T. Rex Maverick FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valério Tande got free with Tales Baiano in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iuri Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Romero in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, T. Rex Maverick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Romero came free, but Iuri Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Iuri Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benjamim Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Romero might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iuri Vidal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamim Romero ran back to his position shaking his head. Nico Recife struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Iuri Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salvarano. In the 93rd minute, Nico Recife made a precise shot to the right of Iuri Vidal. T. Rex Maverick FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Salvarano fans cheered their team off the field, for while T. Rex Maverick FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
