In the 6th match minute, Tupancireta EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Nunes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 8 minutes, José Vítor Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T. Rex Maverick FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Vítor Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Valério Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Enio Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T. Rex Maverick FC. Iuri Vidal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Luís Campidelis in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Tande in the 22nd minute of play forced Tupancireta EC's goalkeeper Enio Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, José Pedro Cunha took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Iuri Vidal to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the match, T. Rex Maverick FC's goalkeeper Iuri Vidal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Pedro Cunha. Pedro Luís Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in T. Rex Maverick FC's zone, José Pedro Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Vidal came out of the goal and José Pedro Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Pedro Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Iuri Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. T. Rex Maverick FC's Iuri Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Cunha in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benê Nunes during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tupancireta EC's Benê Nunes got a free kick in the 41st minute.

When Valério Tande came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the T. Rex Maverick FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valério Tande couldn't finish the play. Iuri Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind T. Rex Maverick FC's goalkeeper Iuri Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, Valério Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T. Rex Maverick FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tupancireta EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of T. Rex Maverick FC for a fine match.
