Doni Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute of the match, Doni Teixeira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simão Cearense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Vander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Tony Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Adelino Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Sails's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Inmigrantes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Teixeira came free, but Simão Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Black Sails's Cristiano Loureiro got a free kick in the 70th minute. Zé Paulo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Vander in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Inmigrantes FC were awarded a corner. Murillo Sousa went to the cornerflag to take it. After 75 minutes of play, Inmigrantes FC's Elias Vander made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Paulo Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 82 minutes, Tony Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inmigrantes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Luz during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Vander in the 87th minute of play forced Black Sails's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Costa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elias Vander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 90 minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
