Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Pedro Cunha kicked off to start the match. Egídio Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Pedro Luís Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tupancireta EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luís Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Tupancireta EC defense, Arnaldo de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enio Bueno. The Tupancireta EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enio Bueno should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Arnaldo de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FLAurca getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abelardo Souto hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Tupancireta EC's Pedro Luís Campidelis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Trevisan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, FLAurca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo de Souza to maneuver through the defense. When Pedro Luís Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Tupancireta EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Campidelis couldn't finish the play. Diogo Negri charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Negri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes FLAurca got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Negri. After a defensive mix-up in Tupancireta EC's zone, Naldo Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enio Bueno came out of the goal and Naldo Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo de Souza was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Richard Moreira threw the ball into play from the sideline. FLAurca's Abelardo Souto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Benê Nunes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Abelardo Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Abelardo Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Linhares in the 61st minute of play forced Tupancireta EC's goalkeeper Enio Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Souto struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Enio Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FLAurca. After 69 played minutes FLAurca got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Souto. Severino Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Campidelis in the 74th minute of the match. When Benê Nunes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. In the 77th minute, Benê Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Bueno having to interfere. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tupancireta EC's goalkeeper Enio Bueno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the FLAurca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
