Simão Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Naldo Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Caco Linhares's late challenge caught a Inmigrantes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caco Linhares helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FLAurca getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Caco Linhares hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Inmigrantes FC's Fabiano Lucas got a free kick in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FLAurca's Diogo Negri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simão Cearense. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. Simão Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Senna in the 37th minute of the match. Naldo Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Simão Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inmigrantes FC's Simão Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Negri in the 41st minute of play. Simão Cearense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manoel Lara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Elias Vander made the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, FLAurca's goalkeeper Severino Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Rocha. Simão Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Arnaldo de Souza succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. In the 87th minute, Abelardo Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diogo Negri struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Simão Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FLAurca. After 92 minutes, Raí Sarmento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inmigrantes FC and the FLAurca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Inmigrantes FC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Sarmento.
