Sampa Team's Paulo Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Gomes in the 72nd minute of play. Paulo Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sampa Team's Ulysses Souto got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Leonardo Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo Arósio made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ulysses Souto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeu Silva in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Teles saved Londrina Esporte Clube from getting behind. Leonardo Gomes in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulo Leme, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amadeu Silva's late challenge caught a Londrina Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Silva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sampa Team getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Amadeu Silva hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Ferreira during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dito Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match.
