The Inimigos da Habilidade fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Inimigos da Habilidade's Elias Passos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romário Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Football United's Clóvis Rossi got a free kick in the 36th minute. Elias Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Délio Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Passos to make the kick off. Sérgio Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Passos in the 53rd minute of play. After 58th play minutes Délio Alves shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Sérgio Mazza and just under the crossbar into goal. 61 minutes into the game, Délio Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Sérgio Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sérgio Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elias Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
