Barre Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Escobar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorian Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Giovanni Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barre Futebol Clube. Wilian Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Giovanni Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Sergipano in the 16th minute of play forced Asgard FC's goalkeeper Giovanni Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dorian Sergipano sped through Asgard FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovanni Quadros. When Osvaldinho Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asgard FC's protests and gave Osvaldinho Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Asgard FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Gomes. After a defensive mix-up in Asgard FC's zone, Christian Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Quadros came out of the goal and Christian Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Vágner Medeiros put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Giovanni Quadros. Vágner Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Quadros having to interfere. Giovanni Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorian Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Cláudio Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Dorian Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vágner Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni Quadros having to make a save. Elias de Medeiros acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Richard Rocha. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Richard Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Romeo Escobar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Barre Futebol Clube's Christian Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilian Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Giovanni Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vágner Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Barre Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Carioca charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Carioca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barre Futebol Clube made a substitution. Júlio Nóbrega replaced Christian Fantini. Reynaldo Carioca hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Johnatan Barragán reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giovanni Quadros. The goal made the score 0-5. The supporters of Barre Futebol Clube booed when Asgard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilian Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barre Futebol Clube's Romeo Escobar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Giovanni Quadros but with some difficulty. Giovanni Quadros was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Wilian Mota capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilian Mota really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Vágner Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni Quadros having to make a save. 93 minutes into the game, Dorian Sergipano lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Giovanni Quadros. Barre Futebol Clube played a much better game than Asgard FC and deserved their victory. The Asgard FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
