Dorian Sergipano scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Carlos Matorin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Elder Mattos fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rancatoco F.C.'s protests and gave Elder Mattos a yellow card for diving instead. Elder Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Dorian Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antônio Carlos Matorin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorian Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. If Vágner Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chico Machado hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Barre Futebol Clube's Wilian Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antônio Carlos Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Medeiros in the 41st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Vágner Medeiros notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Rancatoco F.C.'s Antônio Carlos Matorin. Antônio Carlos Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rancatoco F.C.'s Antônio Carlos Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Medeiros in the 48th minute of play. In the 50th minute Barre Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Romeo Escobar went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Barre Futebol Clube's corner Romeo Escobar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antônio Carlos Matorin quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Barre Futebol Clube were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Christian Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Barre Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Passos. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barre Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Elias de Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elder Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rancatoco F.C.'s Antônio Carlos Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Rancatoco F.C. from getting a goal against them. Antônio Carlos Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Fantini in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Mattos in the 64th minute of play forced Barre Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Elias de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Barre Futebol Clube's Vágner Medeiros made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Carlos Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antônio Carlos Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Sergipano in the 72nd minute of play. Wilian Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rancatoco F.C.'s Antônio Carlos Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Sergipano in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Chico Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Rancatoco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Soares. In the 78th minute, Elder Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vágner Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Antônio Carlos Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorian Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Carlos Matorin stood somewhat misplaced when Dorian Sergipano came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 84 minute. After 95 minutes of play, Barre Futebol Clube's Vágner Medeiros made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Carlos Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barre Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
