Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oséas Saraiva made the kick off which started today's match. Sílvio Luís Barral hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Lago acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vágner Arantes. Maurício Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes, Arranca Toco FC's Sebastião Veiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maurício Bittencourt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arranca Toco FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Arranca Toco FC's Pedro Luís Ferraz got a free kick in the 19th minute. Osvaldo Lago acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vágner Arantes. Arranca Toco FC's Osvaldo Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Saraiva in the 22nd minute of play. Osvaldo Lago was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Oséas Saraiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oséas Saraiva really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. João Carlos Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Maurício Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Tomé Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bezerras SS and the Arranca Toco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomé Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute João Carlos Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marco Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Arranca Toco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Saraiva came free, but Osvaldo Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, João Carlos Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Carlos Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurício Bittencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Carlos Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. Tadeu Veiga hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bezerras SS! Bezerras SS:s Maurício Bittencourt showed great skill when he stopped Sebastião Veiga:s penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Carlos Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. A very nice done corner allowed João Carlos Saldanha to score against Maurício Bittencourt in Bezerras SS's goal. 1-1 after 53 minutes. In the 59thth minute of the game Oséas Saraiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arranca Toco FC's Osvaldo Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arranca Toco FC's Osvaldo Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Viana in the 61st minute of play. Sílvio Luís Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bezerras SS's zone, Pedro Luís Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Bittencourt came out of the goal and Pedro Luís Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Pedro Luís Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carlos Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Maurício Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurício Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Arranca Toco FC's Marco Lopez. But to his dismay, Marco Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 84 minutes into the match, Oséas Saraiva notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Arranca Toco FC's Osvaldo Lago. Osvaldo Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If João Carlos Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Arranca Toco FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
