Apolo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Semija Omurokay F.C. the free kick. The goalkeeper, Silas Sá, was totally fooled by Semija Omurokay F.C.'s Kléberson Moreno, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 31st minute Tomé Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo FC's Adriano Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldo Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Apolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Freitas. The audience was convinced that Adriano Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaltino Madureira was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Apolo FC made a substitution. Pedro Luiz Tande replaced Anselmo Freitas. The Semija Omurokay F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Apolo FC were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizão de Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silas Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Silva in the 58th minute of play. Adriano Soares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isaltino Madureira came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Soares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 59th minute. When Apolo FC's Adriano Soares in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Semija Omurokay F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Ronaldo Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apolo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomé Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kiko Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-6 became the score in the 72nd minute when Adriano Soares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adriano Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Isaltino Madureira made a huge save. Kiko Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Isaltino Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaltino Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Madureira having to interfere. After 92 played minutes, Apolo FC's Benjamin Perez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaltino Madureira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apolo FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Soares in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Apolo FC booed when Semija Omurokay F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Adriano Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apolo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Apolo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Semija Omurokay F.C. throughout the match.
