Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Paulo José Vaz came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Asgard FC's Charles Prestes. But to his dismay, Charles Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marquinhos Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Vaz having to interfere. Pixe's Paulo José Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Pixe from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Asgard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Motta came free, but Giovanni Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Vaz having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Paulo José Vaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sebastião Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Geovani Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marquinhos Valle to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Prestes in the 51st minute of play forced Pixe's goalkeeper Paulo José Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pixe's zone, Charles Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo José Vaz came out of the goal and Charles Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head.
