Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Carlos Saldanha started the match with the kick off. Pedro Luís Ferraz hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Arranca Toco FC's Osvaldo Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Oliveira in the 6th minute of play. Osvaldo Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Kiko Alvarenga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Osvaldo Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 26 minutes, Francisco Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manaós's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 played minutes Arranca Toco FC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Severo. After 29 minutes of play, Manaós's Kiko Alvarenga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 32 played minutes Manaós got a freekick which was hit by Josué Tinoco. Osvaldo Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Oliveira in the 37th minute of play. Osvaldo Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Oliveira in the 41st minute of the match. Manaós's Kiko Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Arranca Toco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Kiko Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Osvaldo Lago made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Manaós's zone, Marco Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Pereira came out of the goal and Marco Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kiko Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Francisco Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Kiko Alvarenga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Osvaldo Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Oliveira had several of the Arranca Toco FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Osvaldo Lago as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kiko Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Osvaldo Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Arranca Toco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Oliveira came free, but Osvaldo Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Robinho Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiko Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Osvaldo Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willian Pires's late challenge caught a Arranca Toco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Pires helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Manaós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Pires to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes, Arranca Toco FC's Gabriel Vander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdir Pereira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arranca Toco FC reached it. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manaós's goalkeeper Valdir Pereira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Manaós:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arranca Toco FC:s goal. When the final whistle sounded Manaós left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arranca Toco FC.
