The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kauan Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Lamacre SC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Lamacre SC's Jarbas Arantes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Giovanni Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Lamacre SC's corner Paulo Renato Brodel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giovanni Félix quite easily take care of the ball. Dida das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Mandrak in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, East Tower United's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Arantes came free, but Giovanni Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Lamacre SC's Giovanni Félix threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarbas Arantes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lamacre SC's Alberto Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Mandrak in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Jarbas Arantes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Tower United's Giovanni Félix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of East Tower United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lamacre SC:s goal. If Jarbas Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Giovanni Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Arantes in the 45th minute of the match. Kauan Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarbas Arantes made a kick off. Giovanni Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Arantes in the 62nd minute of play. Lamacre SC's Jarbas Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kauan Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kauan Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Lamacre SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauan Arantes couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauan Arantes in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Siqueira having to interfere. Aílton Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aílton Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aílton Vale hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nelson do Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Siqueira was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When Kauan Arantes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Giovanni Félix was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 89th minute Jarbas Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kauan Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Félix having to interfere. Aílton Vale got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Lamacre SC's Aílton Vale got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Lamacre SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson do Vale came free, but Alberto Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Nelson do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lamacre SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
