Doriva Pombal scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doriva Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Félix having to interfere. In the 11th minute Doriva Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando de Queirós in the 12th minute of play forced East Tower United's goalkeeper Giovanni Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes East Tower United got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Ortiz. Giovanni Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arapuá FC. were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after East Tower United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mirande took the corner. Clóvis Salles thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Giovanni Félix, a very annoying self made goal in the 23rd minute which led to 0-3. The supporters of East Tower United booed when Arapuá FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Arapuá FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fernando de Queirós hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Doriva Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Doriva Pombal notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of East Tower United's Giovanni Félix. Giovanni Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute Doriva Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, Arapuá FC.'s Luís Fernando de Queirós made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Félix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doriva Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Giovanni Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doriva Pombal to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, East Tower United's goalkeeper Giovanni Félix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doriva Pombal. Paulo Renato Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Félix having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Paulo Renato Prestes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Giovanni Félix, 0-6. In the 63rd minute, Arapuá FC.'s Doriva Pombal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giovanni Félix. Giovanni Félix yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. When Nelson do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored East Tower United's protests and gave Nelson do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes East Tower United got a freekick which was hit by Nelson do Vale. 68 minutes into the match, Doriva Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni Félix. East Tower United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doriva Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. After 72 played minutes Arapuá FC. got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Paranaense. Luís Fernando de Queirós hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind East Tower United's goalkeeper Giovanni Félix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Doriva Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Arapuá FC. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva Pombal couldn't finish the play. Doriva Pombal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 83rd playminute. Doriva Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Giovanni Félix made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Doriva Pombal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arapuá FC. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Arapuá FC.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
