But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Vítor Guerra couldn't finish the play. Paulo José de Lima hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's Duarte Rezende suffered a sprained foot after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Fred Silveira's late challenge caught a ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's goalkeeper Belmiro Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jailson Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Stancho Hadzhiminev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Toninho do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Dialise Jabuka got a freekick which was hit by Válter Cardozo. Josu Lijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Stancho Hadzhiminev made the kick off in the second half. Toninho do Nascimento came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's José Vítor Guerra. But to his dismay, José Vítor Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's José Vítor Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 minutes of play, ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's Stancho Hadzhiminev made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho do Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Stancho Hadzhiminev managed to get in a good position for a shot. ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Stancho Hadzhiminev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Ferraz in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toninho do Nascimento saved Dialise Jabuka from getting behind. In the 80th minute José Vítor Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dialise Jabuka's zone, Stancho Hadzhiminev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho do Nascimento came out of the goal and Stancho Hadzhiminev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If José Vítor Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stancho Hadzhiminev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho do Nascimento having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dialise Jabuka's zone, Stancho Hadzhiminev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho do Nascimento came out of the goal and Stancho Hadzhiminev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Josu Lijo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's protests and gave Josu Lijo a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Vítor Guerra in the 97th minute of play forced Dialise Jabuka's goalkeeper Toninho do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
