An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Zanette in the 15th minute of play forced ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's goalkeeper Belmiro Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Stancho Hadzhiminev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF got a corner. Belucci F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gero Mitos ran over to the corner to take the kick. 20 minutes into the match, Douglas Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giuseppe Arce. Belucci F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Giuseppe Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Belucci F.C booed when ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atang Prasetyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Gonçalves's late challenge caught a ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. Roberto Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Giuseppe Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Soares in the 32nd minute of the match. Stancho Hadzhiminev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Arce having to interfere. Dé Brito made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Amauri Sergipano. Douglas Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Giuseppe Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juvenal Zanette to make the kick off. Giuseppe Arce was a little too slow when Stancho Hadzhiminev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-2. Giuseppe Arce made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when José Vítor Guerra sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, José Vítor Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's supporters rose to their feet, but José Vítor Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antônio Carlos Viana hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jailson Vinhas didn't quite understand what happened when in the 61 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Stancho Hadzhiminev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Belucci F.C's Pedro Paulo Paulista got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Stancho Hadzhiminev managed to get in a good position for a shot. ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Stancho Hadzhiminev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Juvenal Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stancho Hadzhiminev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Stancho Hadzhiminev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giuseppe Arce. Stancho Hadzhiminev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Stancho Hadzhiminev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Arce having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Belucci F.C's zone, José Vítor Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Arce came out of the goal and José Vítor Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
