Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gert Vennerkvist kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes Baracaja FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Penha. When Alessandro Rezende fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baracaja FC's protests and gave Alessandro Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Baracaja FC got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Rezende. In the 14th minute, Leonardo Vidal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leonardo Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Júnior Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felippe de Queirós during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felippe de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gert Vennerkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Platon Losada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magno Jacinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Júnior Baiano came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Fearless Jungle Jaguars's Angelo Fontes. But to his dismay, Angelo Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Leonardo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Fontes was the one to do the kick off. João Paulo Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes Baracaja FC got a freekick which was hit by Bob Firmino. In the 58th match minute, Fearless Jungle Jaguars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. When Platon Losada came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Baracaja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Platon Losada couldn't finish the play. Belmiro da Fonseca was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Leonardo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Baracaja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe de Queirós came free, but Júnior Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe de Queirós in the 69th minute of play. Leonardo Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Júnior Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júnior Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júnior Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Vidal in the 78th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Fearless Jungle Jaguars's Angelo Fontes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júnior Baiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Baracaja FC defense, Leonardo Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Baiano. The Baracaja FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Baiano should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Baracaja FC's Pedro Augusto Esteves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. In the 95th minute Leonardo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fearless Jungle Jaguars had played much better football throughout.
