An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Fontes in the 33rd minute of play forced Rockers FC's goalkeeper César Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Rockers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rockers FC's goalkeeper César Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Vidal took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César Chaves. César Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Angelo Fontes made the kick off in the second half. If João Paulo Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Rockers FC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Britto. Rockers FC's César Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Rockers FC from getting a goal against them. Leonardo Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. César Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fearless Jungle Jaguars's Mathias Cardoso got a free kick in the 71st minute. João Paulo Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over César Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Paulo Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. If Angelo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rockers FC's attentive Cafu Prado managed to snatch the ball when Oséias Britto made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. After 81 played minutes Leonardo Vidal rounded Rockers FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Magno Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the game, Fearless Jungle Jaguars got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. If Angelo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Leonardo Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fearless Jungle Jaguars's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fearless Jungle Jaguars's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
