In the 4th match minute, Baracaja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Vennerkvist to maneuver through the defense. Roger Moreno made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Erik Arce. Platon Losada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Giuseppe Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júnior Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Zanette in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Belucci F.C's zone, Gert Vennerkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Arce came out of the goal and Gert Vennerkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Baracaja FC's Platon Losada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giuseppe Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 25 minutes, Gert Vennerkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baracaja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Vennerkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuca Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júnior Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Gonçalves in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Baracaja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho das Neves to maneuver through the defense. Júnior Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juvenal Zanette stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Belucci F.C were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Baracaja FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dé Brito took the corner. Robinho Coutinho made a great header on Belucci F.C's corner, it was just that Baracaja FC's Júnior Baiano managed to reach the ball for a save. Gert Vennerkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Gert Vennerkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Giuseppe Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gert Vennerkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chiquinho das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Dé Brito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júnior Baiano skillfully saved the ball. Samuca Sarmento scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júnior Baiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gert Vennerkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes, Erik Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belucci F.C and the Baracaja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Gert Vennerkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giuseppe Arce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gert Vennerkvist in the 82nd minute. Alessandro Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Belucci F.C's zone, Gert Vennerkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Arce came out of the goal and Gert Vennerkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Platon Losada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Giuseppe Arce made a huge save. Giuseppe Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Vennerkvist in the 94th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Baracaja FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
