Jarbas Mazza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Toninho do Nascimento when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Dialise Jabuka's zone, Jarbas Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho do Nascimento came out of the goal and Jarbas Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Norberto Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Dialise Jabuka's Válter Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dráusio Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Marvai's Dráusio Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Leite in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Diogo Vianna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dráusio Freire showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dráusio Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Mangueira in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Dialise Jabuka getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fred Silveira hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Dialise Jabuka's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Lopes came free, but Toninho do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marvai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Válter Cardozo scored to the left of an out of position Dráusio Freire, making the score, 0-3. 62 minutes into the game, Válter Cardozo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dráusio Freire. Válter Cardozo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Roberto Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho do Nascimento having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Dialise Jabuka's Kaká Mangueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráusio Freire. Dráusio Freire yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Marvai's Jarbas Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dráusio Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Dialise Jabuka's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
