Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Leite to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fearless Jungle Jaguars's Angelo Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toninho do Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anselmo Gomes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toninho do Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Fearless Jungle Jaguars's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
