Jerônimo Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes of play, Rockers FC's Filipe Viana made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráusio Freire was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filipe Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Filipe Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Marvai's Noel Teles got a free kick in the 18th minute. Filipe Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráusio Freire read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Marvai:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rockers FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Dráusio Freire, was totally fooled by Rockers FC's Filipe Viana, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Rockers FC's Leopoldo Donatello got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Filipe Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Víktor Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marvai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Filipe Viana scored to the left of an out of position Dráusio Freire, making the score, 3-0. In the 39th minute of the match Jerônimo Brodel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dráusio Freire showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jarbas Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Filipe Viana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dráusio Freire. Marvai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Viana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Viana to make the kick off. The supporters of Rockers FC booed when Marvai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Jarbas Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Filipe Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marvai's Dráusio Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dráusio Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Viana in the 64th minute of play forced Marvai's goalkeeper Dráusio Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarbas Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Chaves having to interfere. If Filipe Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráusio Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Marvai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Teles to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Thiago Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thiago Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráusio Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráusio Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Rockers FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
