Jacinto Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Recife came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Baracaja FC's Platon Losada. But to his dismay, Platon Losada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. JMS Bileca's Jacinto Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Rezende in the 42nd minute of play. Platon Losada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jacinto Recife made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jacinto Recife made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The supporters of JMS Bileca booed when Baracaja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Baracaja FC's goalkeeper Júnior Baiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Baracaja FC's Platon Losada got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the JMS Bileca defense, Alessandro Rezende kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Recife. The JMS Bileca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Recife should have stopped the shot. Pedro Augusto Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the game, Alessandro Rezende cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jacinto Recife was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alessandro Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Baracaja FC fully deserved thier win.
