The coaching staff of ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonny Chilton had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 5th match minute, ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonny Chilton to maneuver through the defense. Belmiro Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Belucci F.C's Amauri Sergipano got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th match minute, Belucci F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Arce to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Belucci F.C's Giuseppe Arce got control of the ball when Douglas Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Belucci F.C's zone, Duarte Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Arce came out of the goal and Duarte Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Vítor Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Giuseppe Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Josu Lijo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Giuseppe Arce to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute José Vítor Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's José Vítor Guerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giuseppe Arce. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Dé Brito made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Amauri Sergipano however managed to control. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Vítor Guerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When José Vítor Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Vítor Guerra couldn't finish the play. José Vítor Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Arce having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Juvenal Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belmiro Fernandez was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's José Vítor Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giuseppe Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Vítor Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giuseppe Arce having to make a save. After having played for 65 minutes, José Vítor Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Vítor Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Giuseppe Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giuseppe Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Vítor Guerra went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Juvenal Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute José Vítor Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo de Moraes hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Juvenal Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belucci F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Juvenal Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
