The FLAMONT FC. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Paulo Marques should have stopped the shot. Fearless Jungle Jaguars's Felippe de Queirós quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sílvio Luís Saraiva, made in the 14th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FLAMONT FC.'s Claudinho de Godoi got a free kick in the 18th minute. José Paulo Marques came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Fearless Jungle Jaguars's Angelo Fontes. But to his dismay, Angelo Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Leonardo Vidal took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Paulo Marques. José Paulo Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Magno Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Angelo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind FLAMONT FC.'s goalkeeper José Paulo Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mathias Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fearless Jungle Jaguars's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Paulo Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. José Paulo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Marques having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind FLAMONT FC.'s goalkeeper José Paulo Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabrício Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José Paulo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Paulo Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Leonardo Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Angelo Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Paulo Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Motta in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Breno Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Paulo Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Fearless Jungle Jaguars's Oséias Britto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Paulo Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Felippe de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. José Paulo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fearless Jungle Jaguars walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
