The Varjoia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago da Mata in the 8th minute of play forced Varjoia's goalkeeper Manfredo Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Alan de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Magalhães having to interfere. If Pedrão Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 20 in the game by Jaime Mesquita from a close distance when the talented Manfredo Magalhães managed to make a qualified save. Varjoia's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Varjoia's zone, Alan de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfredo Magalhães came out of the goal and Alan de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfredo Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago da Mata's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Giovani Chaves's late challenge caught a Christina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovani Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. Giovani Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, one of Varjoia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Filipe Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Varela in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match, Alan de Almeida got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manfredo Magalhães was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thiago da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Magalhães having to interfere. The supporters of Christina FC booed when Varjoia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Christina FC's Thiago da Mata made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfredo Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Penha to make the kick off. Nico Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alan de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manfredo Magalhães was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Manfredo Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan de Almeida in the 64th minute of the match. Alan de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago da Mata took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfredo Magalhães. Manfredo Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan de Almeida in the 86th minute of play forced Varjoia's goalkeeper Manfredo Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago da Mata in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manfredo Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Varjoia's Manfredo Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan de Almeida in the 94th minute of play. Manfredo Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago da Mata in the 95th minute of the match. Alan de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Manfredo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christina FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
