Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matheus Cerezo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Terra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Ortiz in the 79th minute of play forced Marieta MZC's goalkeeper Eliseu Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Terra having to interfere. Nelson Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Quintal in the 94th minute of the match. Marieta MZC's Hortêncio de Castro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Marieta MZC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
