Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Nestor Mendes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the EmeDois defense, Glauco Paranaense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvaldo Pinheiro. The EmeDois fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvaldo Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in EmeDois's zone, Luiz Gustavo de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Pinheiro came out of the goal and Luiz Gustavo de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Mendes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Carlos Augusto Mesquita skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. EmeDois's Nestor Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC.Commanders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EmeDois the free kick. In the 18th match minute, SC.Commanders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Correia to maneuver through the defense. Edvaldo Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvaldo Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Godoi in the 29th minute of the match. When Ramón Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EmeDois's protests and gave Ramón Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. 33 minutes into the game, one of EmeDois:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 40th minute Isaltino Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ruy Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the EmeDois fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruy Miranda couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Arnaldo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovani Meireles to strike the kick off in the second half. Edvaldo Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Meireles in the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, SC.Commanders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th match minute, EmeDois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Isaltino Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC.Commanders getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. João Carlos Vargas hit a great ball. EmeDois's Isaltino Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvaldo Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Meireles in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Luiz Gustavo de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaltino Lara struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Carlos Augusto Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EmeDois. 79 minutes into the match, SC.Commanders's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Miranda came free, but Carlos Augusto Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Breckenfeld in the 83rd minute of play forced SC.Commanders's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC.Commanders's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruy Miranda was slow to take the kick. During this time EmeDois's players had a chance to rest. 86 minutes into the match, Ruy Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Augusto Mesquita. SC.Commanders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruy Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC.Commanders had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
