When Clube de Regatas Brasil's Humberto Vale in 22 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gabrian Batistuta guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Wesley Rocha had several of the Black Cat FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Gabrian Batistuta as he didn't even see the shot coming. Humberto Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wesley Rocha to make the kick off. Gabrian Batistuta came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube de Regatas Brasil's Wesley Rocha. But to his dismay, Wesley Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Vale in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabrian Batistuta saved Black Cat FC from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Eliseu Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabrian Batistuta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Rocha in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umberto Borges during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Humberto Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabrian Batistuta having to interfere. Dorival Toledo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Augusto Freire came out and tried to block the shot, but Dorival Toledo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 85th minute. Nuno de Sena hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Wesley Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabrian Batistuta having to interfere.
