Spectators: 6434 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alessandro Cerezo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Moraes A.C booed when Sagres SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamílton Tavares's late challenge caught a Sagres SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamílton Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Hamílton Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisão Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moraes A.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lauro da Mata was slow to take the kick. During this time Sagres SS's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which José Reis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alessandro Cerezo had several of the Moraes A.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Luisão Tróia as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sérgio Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alessandro Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Luisão Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sagres SS. Moraes A.C's Luisão Tróia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Moraes A.C from getting a goal against them. Oswaldo de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Francisco Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moraes A.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisão Tróia made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Erasmo Damião sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Moraes A.C's zone, Alessandro Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisão Tróia came out of the goal and Alessandro Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 61st minute, Oswaldo de Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moraes A.C's Francisco Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessandro Cerezo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luisão Tróia having to make a save. If Oswaldo de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão Tróia came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Sagres SS's Alessandro Cerezo. But to his dismay, Alessandro Cerezo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hamílton Tavares was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 82nd minute, Hamílton Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino de Amaral having to interfere. Alessandro Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Sagres SS's Albertino de Amaral got control of the ball when Francisco Falcão tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Moraes A.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sagres SS.
