After 51 played minutes Queluz SC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Veloso. Felipe Pontes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Váldson Reis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Queluz SC's Fabiano Cunha suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Simão das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Languiru SS's protests and gave Simão das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Languiru SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão das Neves to maneuver through the defense. In the 64thth minute of the game Alfredo Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Queluz SC's Evaristo Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Simão das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Languiru SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Languiru SS's Váldson Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Languiru SS from getting a goal against them. If Marcus Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although Languiru SS had been in control for most of the match, Queluz SC still came away with the win.
