Alfredo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Neto having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cauan Moreno to make the kick off. Acácio Donato's late challenge caught a Languiru SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acácio Donato helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, INDUSTRIAL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Donato to maneuver through the defense. Languiru SS's Váldson Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Languiru SS from getting a goal against them.
