Glycerio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JheNano FC the free kick. Chico Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Vieira during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nuno Vieira hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Ramón Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Chico Alves. Glycerio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of JheNano FC booed when Glycerio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natanael Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Giuseppe Mattos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Sá made a huge save. JheNano FC's Leopoldo Sá proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save JheNano FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Carlinhos Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glycerio's Nuno Vieira took a good shot, in the 48th minute, which hit the crossbar above Leopoldo Sá's head, and flew over the goal. JheNano FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Glycerio. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramón Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. JheNano FC were furious when Cristian Marquez was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 62nd minute, one of JheNano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for JheNano FC. The referee gave Glycerio a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nuno Vieira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of JheNano FC's Leopoldo Sá. 3-1. Ramón Mesquita hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Donato in the 73rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Glycerio's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Mesquita came free, but Chico Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Mattos in the 88th minute of play. Leopoldo Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Ramón Mesquita notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Glycerio's Chico Alves. Chico Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
