In the 13th match minute, SpartacuS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Rocha to maneuver through the defense. If Dorival Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Livramentense Sport Club's goalkeeper Breno Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filipe Paraibano. Dorival Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Paes having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorival Koehler to make the kick off. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind SpartacuS's goalkeeper Manuel Paes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorival Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Paes having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Baltazar Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breno Galvão. The SpartacuS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
