Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guto Gamalov took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Glycerio booed when Geribues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geribues's Guto Gamalov got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guto Gamalov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Alves having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Guto Gamalov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Guto Gamalov kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Betinho de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Donato in the 28th minute of the match. If Guto Gamalov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chico Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guto Gamalov's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute, Nuno Donato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betinho de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 48th minute, Guto Gamalov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geribues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Donato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chico Alves stood somewhat misplaced when Guto Gamalov came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 58 minute. When Giuseppe Mattos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Betinho de Amaral was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Geribues's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Donato came free, but Betinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Glycerio's zone, Guto Gamalov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Alves came out of the goal and Guto Gamalov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chico Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Saldanha in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glycerio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guto Gamalov was slow to take the kick. During this time Geribues's players had a chance to rest. Geribues's Guto Gamalov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chico Alves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Augusto Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Chico Alves stood somewhat misplaced when Guto Gamalov came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 90 minute. If Giuseppe Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geribues's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
