Gilmar Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Betinho de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Pinho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of 102 Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Geribues:s goal. When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, Geribues's Guto Gamalov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Richard Mendes. Geribues's Guto Gamalov got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Yan Sanches fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 102 Futebol Clube's protests and gave Yan Sanches a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes 102 Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Yan Sanches. 21 minutes into the match, Guto Gamalov notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of 102 Futebol Clube's Richard Mendes. Richard Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the game, one of 102 Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute, the referee gave Geribues a penalty. Guto Gamalov looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Richard Mendes. Guto Gamalov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Richard Mendes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Richard Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guto Gamalov in the 31st minute. 41 minutes into the game, Guto Gamalov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Mendes. Guto Gamalov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Zé Pedro Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Mendes having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guto Gamalov made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Guto Gamalov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 102 Futebol Clube's Richard Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baltazar da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho de Amaral having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Gamalov in the 62nd minute of play forced 102 Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Richard Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes, Guto Gamalov made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. 102 Futebol Clube's Richard Mendes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Guto Gamalov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aloísio Passos during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Geribues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Passos to maneuver through the defense. 102 Futebol Clube's Richard Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Gamalov in the 88th minute of play. Samuca Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Richard Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guto Gamalov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Geribues walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
