Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Netto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gustavo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Corrêa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Palheta SS's Oswaldo Teixeira got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Aparecido in the 8th minute of play forced Palheta SS's goalkeeper Nuno de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Luiz Fabiano Koehler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, AMÉRICO.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Netto came free, but Angelo Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nuno de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wágner Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Nuno de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AMÉRICO.FC. Angelo Corrêa was a little too slow when Joaquim Netto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. Nuno de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Aparecido in the 33rd minute of the match. If Cristian Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Netto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Corrêa having to make a save. Palheta SS's Wanderson Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Róbson das Neves hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kauã Queiroz to make the kick off. Wanderson Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, AMÉRICO.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Koehler came free, but Angelo Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wanderson Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Róbson das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palheta SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbson das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, AMÉRICO.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Netto came free, but Angelo Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Joaquim Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Corrêa. AMÉRICO.FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Cristian Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauã Queiroz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Nuno de Alcântara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nuno de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Aparecido in the 87th minute of the match. Wágner Aparecido was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Palheta SS's Nuno de Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Palheta SS from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Netto in the 92nd minute of play forced AMÉRICO.FC's goalkeeper Angelo Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Cristian Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palheta SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while AMÉRICO.FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
