The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, Bomba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Torres to maneuver through the defense. Glauco de Lima made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Filipe Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. Filipe Paraibano had several of the Bomba FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Glauco de Lima as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bomba FC's Glauco de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Luz in the 27th minute of play. When Filipe Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the SpartacuS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Paraibano couldn't finish the play. Glauco de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Luz in the 34th minute of the match. SpartacuS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bomba FC for a fine match.
